Robert & Sarah Bradley
Veteran Missionaries
Robert was saved at the age of 18, was baptized and joined Friendship Baptist Church in Saluda, N.C. He graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1966. Sarah was saved at the age of 13, was baptized and joined Fair Haven Baptist in Hendersonville, N.C. She graduated from Tennessee Temple College in 1965. Robert and Sarah married in 1964. Their oldest son was born during deputation. The family left for Peru, South America in 1967. 2additional children were born on the mission field. Robert & Sarah helped in churches in Iquitos during their language studies. Robert preached in river villages in Pucalpa, Ojeal, Moralilla, and San Juan de Munich where they started a mission church. They returned to the U.S. in 1979. After a furlough, the Bradleys moved to Sanderson, TX. in 1980 where they started Sanderson Spanish Baptist Church. Robert also preached in several churches in Mexico (Ojinaga, La Mula, Ciudad Acuna, & Piedras Negras) while Sarah ministered in music & children's ministry. In 1989, the Bradleys started working at a church on the border in Eagle Pass, TX. and worked with the Spanish speaking people there and had a ministry to the Kickapoo Tribe located nearby. In 1999 they focused on their works in Mexico and a jail ministry in Beeville, TX. until 2001 when they moved to Athens, TX and started Iglesia Bautista Betel. They are now helping in various Spanish speaking ministries in Texas and Mexico.
